“Delivering Better”: Deputy Prime Minister Advocates for Climate Justice and Financial Reform at High-Level Forum.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economic Development has delivered a powerful address at the High-Level Forum, urging the international community to transition from “promises to implementation” as the world enters the final stretch toward the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Speaking on behalf of the Government and people of Tuvalu, the Minister emphasized that global progress must be measured by how effectively the world empowers its most vulnerable nations.

“The credibility of the 2030 Agenda will not be measured by the commitments we reaffirm in this Hall. It will be measured by whether the most vulnerable countries are empowered to achieve them.”
