We Responsible for Government Accounting
The Treasury is responsible for government accounting. It manages the government’s financial management information system (ACCPAC). Line ministries maintain their own vote ledgers, which are reconciled monthly with the Treasury records. Treasury is also responsible for producing reports of annual accounts of the government.
